Learn more about RNIB Newsagent
RNIB Newsagent is a small team of editorial staff based in Northminster House in Peterborough. We work closely with a number of publishers who provide us with titles for conversion into accessible formats. We are supported by colleagues across the UK who record audio, create eText, transcribe into braille, and produce the items we send out to our subscribers.
Our titles range from national and local newspapers, to a wide variety of popular magazines. In addition, we provide a number of titles that are unique to RNIB for specialist interests such as Conundrum, Braille Chess Magazine, Access IT and Braille Music Magazine.
We also provide a select range of free magazines for children including Aquila, National Geographic Kids, First News, Missy and Blast Off!.
Formats available vary by title. Formats include: braille, Big Print, DAISY, MP3 CD, audio CD, USB, download of text files and audio files and newspapers by email (in text format only).
If you want to try a free sample of any title, please contact Helpline on 0333 123 9999 or email [email protected] who will be pleased to arrange that for you.
